North Harbour have made it a three
peat in the Under 20 women’s final at the 2012 Panasonic Youth Water Festival
today with a 12-6 win over Marist Auckland The win was North Harbour’s 3rd
consecutive win in the Under 20 Women’s Division and cements the dominance of
the club in women’s water polo. Australia Gold took the bronze medal with a
single goal victory over the NZ Under 18 women. Danielle Lewis of Marist
captured the MVP award.

Meanwhile the thoughts of a local
victory in the U20 Mens was thwarted when Waitakere went down 7-10 to the
Maranui sponsored FRANZ combined team comprising players from NZ, Australia and
France. The bronze medal went to Marist Auckland in a tight low scoring affair
3-2.Jamie Ogilvie Lee (FRANZ Combined) took out the men’s MVP award.
