NZ Under 15 Teams Dominate

Both the New Zealand Under 15 teams prove too strong for the NSW CHS teams in today’s first match of the 25th Jubilee of the Trans Tasman Shield games at West Wave, Henderson.

The NZ girls easily accounted for NSW CHS 14-7 after taking a commanding lead in the first quarter. The NZ girls continued to prove themselves too strong as they continued to expand their lead throughout the game.

The NZ boys also had a convincing win after leading 6-1 at the end of the opening quarter. NSW closed the gap to within 2 goals during the final quarter but NZ fought back strongly to prove the more dominant team.

Match 2 of the series is tonight at 6.30pm (Girls) and 7.45pm (boys).

The series wraps up tomorrow at the Diocesan Pool at 9.30am (Girls) and 10.45am (Boys)
