Pan Pacific Water Polo Tournament U14 and U18 Brackets Begin
Friday 6th of July saw the
beginning of the U14 and U18 sections of the Panasonic Pan Pacific Water Polo
Tournament.
There already looks to be some tough
competition in the U18 section with the Australian Gold Team winning versus the
NZ U16 team last night 10-6 at West Wave Aquatic Centre. There was also a draw
yesterday (8-8) between Marist U18 and Mountfort Park U18 Women.
In the U14 Boys’ section Waitakere Gold and
Marist Red drew 5-5. The U18 Men’s competition has yet to have close games.
The tournament will come to an end on Tuesday
July 10th.
Immediately following the completion of the
tournament, an U16 Girls’ and Boys’ Trans Tasman Test Series (3 games) begins.
